Until You’re Mine

She was sitting on the couch holding a glass of wine and was thinking about her next story. The party was almost over. And then Someone called her name from behind.

Vartika? it was her friend Alisha.

“why you sit here alone and where is your man?” Alisha asked.

Vartika pointed to the direction where a group of youths stood.

“I could never understand you. How can it be possible that you never feel jealous?” Alisha said in her lower tone.

“No, why I will feel jealous. people feel jealous when they have a fear to lose someone but I don’t feel anything like this. I know he loves me. the way he looks at me. Ahh… that way… I can feel it. And by the way, this is what happens when you date a handsome man.” Vartika said and blink.

Amandeep Singh, Vartika’s boyfriend. a handsome, tall, and well build up man in his early twenties. Amandeep’s decency and kindness always attract women, even back in college. on the other hand, Vartika 5″7′ tall beautiful girl with her upfront and bold attitude, boys always feels hesitant to talk to her. College was the place where they both fell in love with each other.

“And what if he leaves you someday?” Alisha asked.

“It can be possible. Falling out of love is normal. And love is feeling and feelings are temporary. So this is normal. Let me tell you something today ‘You cannot forcefully stop anyone in your life. If they want to leave, they will with your permission or without your permission.’ And to be honest, I do not want people in my life who do not belong to me. So it is better if they do not love me, then they should leave my life. it will painful but isn’t leaving is better than cheating.” Vartika smiled.

“When did you land on earth” Alisha taunted Vartika.

And both girls busted into a laugh.

  1. Definitely a beautiful story. And also it has such a strong message in between its lines. It is always good to be practical even in terms of love so that anytime anything goes wrong we shall remain less hurt by the situation and are able to move on. Life has a lot to offer and one should never ruin it just because someone decided to leave. Though it is more hard said than done, but we can always keep trying. Thanks for sharing this post.
